Chocolate Chip Cookies

I believe everyone should be able to know how to make Chocolate Chip Cookies. It is one of the easiest recipes to do. I can still remember my grandma and me making these all the time along with many other types of cookies. It takes time -- way longer than going to a store and buying them there. But there is just something about a homemade cookie that will always get me. Enjoy this simple recipe.

Ingredients:

2 Sticks of Butter

3/4 cup of brown sugar

3/4 cup of sugar

2 eggs

3 1⁄2 cups of flour

1 tsp of salt

1 tsp of baking soda

1 tsp of vanilla

1 Bag of chips

In a large mixing bowl:

Put sugars in bowl and mix together. Soften butter (in microwave or by setting them out for a time -- It should not be a liquid!). Place butter into bowl with sugars and add the eggs. Mix them (WITH SPOON NOT A MIXER).

Add salt, baking soda, and vanilla. Stir the mix.

Add flour – 1 cup at a time. It will become harder to stir the more flour you put in.

Add your chips (Chocolate Morsels). Mix this into the dough.

Scoop mix with your mixing spoon and put it on the cookie sheet (Should be able to put 6--8 on a sheet).

Put in the 350 Oven for 10 minutes.

Once the time is done, remove from the oven and LET THEM SIT for at least 5 minutes before you remove them from the cookie sheet -- or even touch them. This allows the cookies to finish the process of being made.

ENJOY!!!!
